Getting the heat where it actually matters
Fabric is tricky. You can’t just blast it with heat and hope for the best; you need it to actually soak in. That’s why we use high-purity quartz. It makes sure the radiation hits the fibers directly instead of getting bounced around. If you need to dry the surface fast, go with our short-wave lamps. If you’re dealing with thick, heavy fabrics that need heat deep in the core, medium-wave is your best bet. And since we know textile lines are brutal on equipment, we spec our filaments to handle constant cycling. You shouldn’t have to worry about a lamp popping the second your voltage fluctuates on a continuous conveyor.
No one wants to rewire a whole factory
The last thing you want to do on a Tuesday afternoon is tear apart your control cabinet just to upgrade a bulb. We keep things simple. Most of our lamps use standard R7s or SK15 connectors. You just pull the old one out and pop the new one in. It’s a drop-in replacement. Simple. We also treat the quartz to handle the corrosive mess that usually happens in dyeing and finishing plants. Plus, we keep the fit tight. If a lamp rattles in the reflector, you’re literally throwing heat—and money—out the window.
A few things to keep in mind
Here’s the deal: high-wattage tubes pack a punch. They’re great for speeding up your throughput, but they’ll pull a lot from your power supply. Just double-check that your wiring is thick enough to handle the load so you don’t run into voltage drops. And a quick tip? Keep your reflectors clean.
