It’s a constant tug-of-war. You need enough heat to cure the ink, but if you push it too far, the glass warps or just loses its strength. They oxidize, they warp, and they give up. Ceramic handles the heat without flinching, which keeps the electrical contact tight.&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the real danger: if a cap loosens because of thermal expansion, you get arcing. That&amp;rsquo;s a nightmare. Arcing fries your lamp and puts your whole line on hold. Nobody wants that.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Managing the heat&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;The secret is all in the ramp-up. We use short-wave IR because it hits the glass surface fast and gets that ink cured quickly. But you have to be careful. High-wattage lamps are great for speed, but they turn the area around your conveyor into an oven. If your cooling blowers aren&amp;rsquo;t up to the task, your patterns will start distorting. It&amp;rsquo;s frustrating to see a good run go sideways just because of ambient heat.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A few things to watch out for&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Now, ceramic caps are &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.net&#34;&gt;tough&lt;/a&gt; against heat, but they&amp;rsquo;re brittle. You can&amp;rsquo;t just manhandle these lamps. If you&amp;rsquo;re rushing a &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.com&#34;&gt;replacement&lt;/a&gt; and you&amp;rsquo;re too rough, you&amp;rsquo;ll crack the housing. It happens.&#xA;I always suggest using a rigid mounting bracket to kill any vibration. Vibration is the silent &lt;a href=&#34;https://henruite.com&#34;&gt;killer&lt;/a&gt; here—it creates these tiny micro-fractures in the quartz tube right at the seal.&#xA;Keep your alignment straight, keep an eye on your voltage, and your lamps will keep humming along for the entire run.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
